Joesph & The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat

Kings Theatre, Glasgow

Joesph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat is a fabulous production. The musical tells the story of Joesph, who during biblical times, was one of twelve brothers. Joesph was his father's favourite son, and his brothers were jealous of this. To get more of their father's attention they sell Joesph as a slave and pretend to their father that he is dead. The story follows what happens to Joesph.

Keith Jack shines in the lead role Joesph. He gives a vocally perfect and confident performance. It is his brothers who really steal the show however; especially Richard J Hunt who really stands out. Hunt's energy and comic timing are captivating.

Henry Metcalfe, who also plays Jacob and Potiphar, has created stunning choreography; and the company work well together in exacting it.

With this production's visual beauty and the brilliant music of Lloyd-Webber and Rice; it won't fail to delight.

Full of colour and humour, this is an entertaining night out for all the family.
