The PTC, creators of
The Witch's
Bogey, is seeking a special talent to play the
lead in the second tour of its original pop musical for families
Bink and The Hairy
Fairy.
The tour will be visiting
premier venues across the country for 33 dates between October 10
2009 to January 3, 2010 including Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds,
The Yvonne Arnaud, Arts Depot London, The Tricycle London, The
Maltings Berwick and Manchester's famous Lowry Theatre where it
will be appearing for a week as their alternative Christmas
show.
The ideal candidate
should be a skilled and sensitive actor, 5'7" to 6'2" with an
excellent pop/rock tenor or high baritone singing voice, great
energy, some movement skill and ideally a base in London or the
South East.
Following a full time
rehearsal period the tour is part time so financial independence
(ie a job for when not acting) could be an advantage.
First auditions will be
later this month followed by a recall. Rehearsals begin September
14th, 2009.

Fee for the 33 dates is
£1320 plus 22 days of accomodation (for when beyond driving
distance from the South East) plus £6 per day touring travel
allowance.
